Reiki is a Japanese healing technique that is non-invasive. It can relive stress and anxiety, correct imbalances in the body and definitely induces a state of relaxation for all. I am a.reiki master practitioner and have been studying reiki since 2006. Thank you and reiki love and light to all! "Good evening, love Chachi!" , too!
Hi there! Just wanted to inform my readers that I am taking appointments for free 15 minute reiki sessions for pets and pet parents who were effected by the Memorial Day floods in Central Texas. Just drop me a line here and we can set up a time. Or if you know someone in our area, please refer them here.

Hi folks! I hope you and your pets are keeping cool during these hot summer months! Chachi and I live in Texas, so there are several things we do to help my baby stay comfortable and safe from the heat. It breaks my heart to see so many pets being neglected and at the mercy of the elements. Please #petparents, keep plenty of clean, cool water within reach for all pets at all times. If your pet has long hair, consider having them trimmed or shaved. However, Chachi has white hair and sensitive skin. If this is the case for some of you, just trim your pet's hair shorter. Leaving it too short and exposing skin to the sun can burn them. If your pet is panting, salivating, and has their tongue hanging out, that's a sign that they are in distress! Take action immediately to help your pet cool off! Pets can have a heat stroke just like people can. And whatever you do, please do not ever leave your pet in a hot car! It's against the law. You can be fined and of course harm your pet. If it is 90 degrees outside, it could be over 100 degrees in your car - even with the Windows down! It's better to leave them at home where they are safe and comfortable. I've had to call out some folks before for leaving their pets in a hot car and their responses are unbelievable! Excuses, excuses! Just don't do it! Stay cool folks! Til next time! Especially when they see #texasflood waters rushing into their home! This is Dory the mancoon. Chachi's Family Pet care is caring for this sweet #cat in our home until she is allowed to return home with her family. She belongs to a family member who lost their home in the recent flood that took place over central Texas during the Memorial Holiday. Currently, Dory is hiding behind our couch til she feels like coming out. As it is, she went through quite an ordeal being hoisted onto her home's roof while waiting to be rescued by first responders. Then, she had stay at a local noisy kennel without her family for about a week. Now, she's with us, but she's afraid and probably wondering where her family is and if they're coming back-poor girl! Her momma believes they'll be able to bring her home in a couple of weeks. Until then, we will be gentle, patient, and just love her. Ms. Dory is the first pet we have cared for in our home, so welcome Dory! #ChachisFamilyPetCare usually pet-sits in our client's homes as we are not equipped for extra pets in our home. But this event has prompted us to happily make adjustments. And, this will allow us to accept more clients here at home in the future. We'll keep you posted on how Dory the mancoon is holding up! Until next time! Follow us on Instagram @chachifriends. |
